A submarine, a diving bell, a space module are confined spaces, which also has a reasonably foreseeable risk to workers of fire, explosion, loss of consciousness, asphyxiation or drowning. DIA has created safety procedures for urgent medical interventions in pressure structures and space modules. These procedures were designed to identify any health risks or conditions that could put technicians at risk when working in confined spaces.
