They represent an innovative tool, providing both civilian and military workers with the ability to carry out their work safely. They take into consideration hazards and risks of environments and equipment, providing safe behavior and methods. DIA Approved Courses are suitable for civilians and military (Army and Navy personnel).

DIA collaborates with manufacturing companies, government bodies, companies involved in the energy sector, to raise awareness of safety and security through training.

DIA Approved Safety Officer and Manager Courses are designed in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 Professional Training and include a second-party assessment audit. The courses are integrated with ASPP and RSPP courses recognized by the Italian government in reference to the European standard for health and safety at work, necessary to work as health and safety officers/managers. In addition for some courses the integrated safety and security courses to improve the skills of civilian and military personnel are provided.

The DIA does not organize or provide the courses, in collaboration with the Project Partners it issues certificates upon completion of the courses with the Training Partners.

They are not qualifying courses, they are courses to improve and update the health and safety knowledge of those who already work in a specific sector such as scientific and space, energy and defence, environmental like a pilot, doctor, diver for example.
