About us

DIA (Dive International Agency) is a non-for-profit organization headquartered in Italy and other branches in Europe, North Sea countries, Eastern European countries, Africa, Mediterranean countries, South East Asia.

DIA is involved in designing courses for civilian and military Training Partners and in the Research&Development sector.

The Training Division aims to create training courses for working safely in aquatic and terrestrial environments in both energy, civil engineering, defense and emergency response.

Given the rapid evolution of technologies, DIA has designed and developed DIA Approved Courses relating to the Commercial Diving, Marine and Science, Space and Energy sector, to respond efficiently to international market demands. 

The Research&Development Division is managed by the CRD Unit and involves in the design and preparation of guidelines, codes of practice, studies on new technologies, behaviors, procedures for accident investigation in the medical and scientific sector.

DIA has also established a support Competence Assessment for both civilian and military personnel.

The Competence Assessment Process or Assessment of Prior Learning is used to determine and assess the professional competencies of the technician. This method is suitable for those who have acquired the knowledge and skills through experience. The purpose of this process is to award a certificate to the candidate to work safely. 

DIA has created a partnership with the medical centres to activate DIA reference points for Unmanned Vehicles personnel. The Fit to Work Program aims to assess the fit of unmanned systems personnel working in the energy and civil engineering, scientific and defence sectors. 

The program provides for the assessment of the technician through tests, analyzes, specific exams, specifically designed for unmanned systems professionals. The technician will get the Certificate of Fitness for Unmanned and Autonomous Vehicles Pilots and Operators if declared fit.
