DIA in collaboration with the Training Partners and Projects Partners, has developed a Safety Plan for all DIA Training Partners. To organize DIA Approved Courses, each DIA Training Partner, must also use the Safety Plan document. It allows to increase the safety aspects that involve people and equipment of the centre. The purpose of Safety Plan is to: protect the candidates and staff training facilities, boat’s personnel, update maintenance program for equipment; protect the training facility from explosion or fire risk; protect and restrict sensitive areas of the training centre, through a suitable safety and security system; a standardization of communication system during training courses, especially for diving sector; increasing of security and safety rules.
The objective of this Safety Plan in training facilities is to enable owners, educational staff and candidates to reduce the risk to facilities from dangerous acts.
This Safety Plan guide is not intended to replace the Italian or Overseas Law, but it extends the safety consideration.
