Fatigue Risk Management

Fatigue risk management for unmanned vehicles pilots and operators is used to predict and prevent flight personnel fatigue and any hazards to health and safety at work.

Unmanned Vehicles Pilots and Operators fatigue can contribute to accidents and incidents. Fatigue risk management refers to the methods used by DIA Unmanned Systems Guidelines to address unmanned system personnel fatigue.

Guidelines for managing unmanned system personnel fatigue were published in September 2015 in the DIA Standards, including maximum hours of work (day and night time) flight duty periods, flight time, minimum rest periods.
