The DIA Approved Diving Supervisor Safety Courses suitable for assistant/diving supervisors operating in the energy, civil engineering and defense sector.

The course gives candidates in-depth knowledge of health, safety and security and the environment, essential for working effectively and safely in remote and hostile areas. Upon completion of the courses, candidates obtain the Safety Officer or Manager certificate

The exams are held onsite (Training Partner centre) and in live synchronous mode by the Training Partner, DIA CRD Unit, DIA Executive Commission, Trade Union and Employers’ Organization recognized by the Ministry of Economy authorized to issue Occupational Health and Safety certificates. The test includes the assessment of occupational health and safety topics in accordance with Legislative Decree. 81/08. Many of the questions involve procedures, rules and behaviors for safe working.

The exam questions are different for each candidate. Upon completion of the theory test, the candidate will sit individually to be assessed and to confirm the exam answers. The examiners and auditors will lead the candidate in a logical reasoning about the various topics to evaluate his effective preparation. In addition, the commission reserves the right to use other evaluation methods.

SAFETY MANAGER (RSPP) – SSDS/IAS/OAS/OCBS

Who should attend	It is ideal for Offshore and Inshore Diving Supervisor
Requirements	Diving Supervisor – High school diploma
Duration	12 days (100 hours)
Theoretical activity	12 days
Competences	Work safely on land and on board vessels, barges and pontoons or barges and pontoons/jack-up, Risk assessment, Safety methods of communication, Prepare and develop a dive plan and contingency and emergency plan, HAZMAT and HAZCOM, MEDEVAC and CASEVAC, Safety first aid, Briefing and debriefing, Ensure diving operations are carried from a suitable and safe site, conducting and promoting safety briefings, etc.
