The DIA Approved Safety Deep Underwater Exploration Course aims to prepare civilian, military and police professional dvers to work safely at great depths. The course focuses on procedures and guidelines, techniques and skills, use of technological equipment. The course was designed to address the lack of standards and codes of practice for civil and defense, police operations in extreme underwater environments for scientific research tasks.

The course looks at professional different responsibilities, legal requirements, hazards, risks, and safety equipment, throughout their working environment.

Divers’ll also benefit from an introduction to workplace emergency procedures such as boat evacuation and contacting the emergency medical personnel, risk and hazards assessment, JSA, HAZOP, HAZCOM guidelines.
